LEVAC, Marguerite (1958-2005)— It is with profound sadness that we announce her passing, at home, on Thursday, May 12, 2005, at the age of 46 years, surrounded by her loving children and family members, after a courageous battle against cancer. She was the daughter of Theodore Levac (predeceased) and Gertrude Levac (nee Ethier). Marguerite was the devoted mother of Louis, Pierre, and Melanie, all of Sturgeon Falls, who were her life and for whom she was an inspiration of courage and strength. She also leaves to mourn her loss, her brothers and sisters: Claude of Sudbury; Michel (Lise) of Val-Therese; Louise of Quebec; Pauline (Roger) of Sturgeon Falls; Francoise (Marc Monette), Pierrette (John Kollar) of Sudbury; and Diane (Normand Delorme) of Verner. Predeceased by one brother, Gilbert (Cecile) of Val-Thérèse. At her request, there will be private visitation, and a memorial service presided by Reverend Jean Legault, for family and close friends only, at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 16, 2005 at the THEORET FUNERAL HOME. In lieu of flowers, the family would greatefully acknowledge donations to the Northeastern Regional Cancer Centre as expressions of sympathy.
