BLAIS, Gisèle (1952-2005) — At the West Nipissing General Hospital on Sunday, May 8, 2005, in her 53rd year. Gisèle was the beloved mother of Chantale and the dear grandmother of Melissa and Amanda. Predeceased by her parents Lucien and Jeanne Blais, a brother Gaëtan, and a sister Jocelyne Paquette (Bob). Beloved sister of Gabriel (Leyda) and Donald (Madeleine) of Sturgeon Falls; Jeannine Hammill (Bill) and Denis of Ottawa; Pauline (Clement Laforest) of Val-des-Monts, Quebec; Bernard (Barbara) of Iqaluit, Nunavut; and Richard (Debbie) of St. John, New Brunswick. The family will receive relatives and friends at the THÉORÊT FUNERAL HOME on Wednesday, May 11, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Reverend Gérald Lajeunesse will celebrate the funeral service at the Resurrection Church at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 12, 2005. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully appreciated by the family, in memory of Gisèle.

BLAIS, Gisèle (1952-2005) — C'est avec tristesse que la famille annonce son décès à l'âge de 52 ans, à l'Hôpital général de Nipissing Ouest, le dimanche 8 mai, 2005, après une lutte courageuse contre le cancer. Tendre mère de Chantale et grand-maman chérie de Melissa et Amanda. Sont décédés auparavant, ses parents Lucien et Jeanne Biais, son frère Gaétan et sa soeur Jocelyne Raquette (Bob). Gisèle est la soeur bien-aimée dé Gabriel (Leyda) et Donald (Madeleine) de Sturgeon Falls; Jeannine Hammill (Bill) et Denis d'Ottawa; Pauline (Clément Laforest) de Val-des-Monts, Québec; Bernard (Barbara) d'Iqaluit, Nunavut; et Richard (Debbie) de St. Jean, Nouveau Brunswick. La famille recevra parents et amis à la MAISON FUNÉRAIRE THÉORÊT de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21 h, le mercredi 11 may 2005. Le Révérend Gérald Lajeunesse célébrera la messe funéraire le jeudi 12 mai, 2005 à 11h à l'église de la Résurrection. En signes de condoléances, la famille apprécierait des dons à la Société canadienne du cancer.
