AUGER, Éliette (née Séguin) — The family announces with sorrow, her death in Sudbury, Tuesday, March 15, 2005 at the age of 89 years. Daughter of the late Ubald and of the late Régina Séguin (née Boucher). Wife of the late Victor Auger, predeceased February 9, 1987. Loving mother of Jean-Marc Auger of Sudbury, Monique Poitras (Marcel) and Andre Auger(Marie Remillard) both of Sturgeon Falls and Constance Auger of Ottawa. Dear sister of Viviane LeBlanc of Sudbury. Survived by her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Renee Cholette, Pauline Lalancette, Roger LeBlanc, Gaston Lalancette and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sisters, Lorette Matte (late Jean-Charles), Adrienne Gravelle (late Wilfrid), Orella Seguin, Yollande Coghlan (late Terrance) and by her only brother, Vital Seguin (late Charlotte). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Gilles, Julie, Denis, Sylvain, Michèle, Martin and by her great-grandchildren, Benoit, Vincent, Andre, Anna, Joelle and Jacob. Mrs. Auger was a founding member of La Toussaint parish and a volunteer for many charitable organizations. Eliette entertained many people with her magnificent soprano voice, and her beautiful songs. In her leisure time, she enjoyed knitting mittens for the needy. She spent her summers at her cottage where she most appreciated nature. To her loving family and friends, Éliette leaves a legacy of love, faith, courage, and good advice. The family will receive friends at the Co-Operative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd., East (at Notre Dame), Sudbury, Thursday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, March 18, 2005 at 11 a.m. in La Toussaint Church, Sudbury. Donations to the Canadian Arthritis Society or to the Lung Association would be appreciated. "May the God of all creation hold you in his warm embrace"
