Dear Mr. Sweeny:-
I am sending to your grand-daughter, Agnes, a silver cup, and as I was not sure of her father's first name, I thought it safer to send it in yours. I hope she will drink lots of milk out of it, and be a healthy, happy girl.
Yours sincerely,
[signed] Agnes C Macphail
Mr. Patrick Sweeny
