Programme Science The Biology, Chemistry, and Physics Departments will be open all afternoon. Demonstrations will be carried out by students and staff members, and faculty will be on hand to explain exhibits and displays. Psychology The Psychology Department will hold demonstrations and there will be opportunity for audience participation in the areas of motivation, learning and perception. (Room 3-108) Music The Music Department will provide a varied programme, featuring piano and voice in the Music Room of the Arts Building at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Besides being enjoyable in itself, the programmes will display the talents of WLU students and alumni from the studios of Prof. Victor Martens and Ralph Elsaessar. Geography The Geography Department will be open all afternoon with faculty on hand to answer questions on various exhibits and displays. Religion and Culture The archaelogy laboratory in the basement of the library will be open from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. and will be staffed by graduate students, who will explain the origin and significance of artifacts discovered by WLU students both in Waterloo County and in the Near East. Dr. Lawrence Toombs will show slides and lecture on the archaeological dig in the Near. East, which was undertaken by WLU students earlier this year. The lecture and slide presentation will take place at 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. in room 1E1. Audio Visual Department Mr. William Nassau, head of the University Audio Visual Department, will lecture on the work of the department, and will show some historical films in the film laboratory (Rooms 2-112 and 2-303 — Central Teaching Building). There will also be demonstrations of videotape and other equipment. Business and Economics Faculty members will lecture on computer workshop practices, and will demonstrate the versatility of the computer in various games. (Room 5-203, Central Teaching Building).
