{OFFICE OF THE PRIME MINISTER

CANADA}

Ottawa, June 21, 1943.

Mrs. G. A. Heather,

117 Queen Street North,

Kitchener, Ontario.

Dear Mrs. Heather:

I regret that the pressure of urgent matters should have prevented me from acknowledging your letter of June 10th as soon as it was received.

I shall be pleased to see that its representations regarding the part to be played by women in planning for reconstruction are brought to the attention of the appropriate officials, to whom I am also making available the representations enclosed with your letter regarding the place of migration and land settlement in reconstruction policy.

With kind regards,

Yours sincerely,

[signed] W.L. Mackenzie King
