I thank you for your kindness in writing me as to the possibility of your house being available during part of the summer should you decide to take a change and rest. At the moment

my own plans for the summer are too undefinable and depend on so many unforeseen contingencies that it is not possible for me, to say [?] whether or when it may be possible for me to [?] up for a month or two. I am anxious to do so if at all possible and have as a matter

of fact made an inquiry or two as to furnished houses and promised consideration to one or two offers. I should like to have a chance of considering the security of your house a little later on should you think of renting it for a short time. It may be that a month will be as long a time as I can spare
