{OFFICE OF THE PRIME MINISTER
CANADA}
Ottawa,
July 21 1937
My dear Bezeau:
I appreciate very much your kindness in writing me with reference to the radio broadcast of Monday night. I am glad to know that what I said has met so completely with your approval as well as that of others.
I have been much distressed to learn of Mrs. Bezeau's illness. I cannot express too sincerely the deep sympathy I feel for you both. I trust that Mrs. Bezeau may soon be completely restored in health, and that you and she may be spared to each other through many years to come.
[handwritten] with kindest regards.
Yours very sincerely. [end handwritten]
