Spring on the Farm

Framed Oil on Masonite Artist description: This oil was painted to show a typical Mennonite farm where electricity and tractors were not permitted. The barn is big enough to hold the hay inside. Many of the farms now have long low barns, or sheds would be a better name. This was necessary because the herds of the contemporary farm were much larger. I was happy to find another excuse to paint apple blossoms and a vegetable garden.
