Woldemar Neufeld Collection

Laurier’s Woldemar Neufeld Collection is comprised of over 300 works of art and reflects the historical nostalgia of the Waterloo Region and Neufled’s great admiration for the Canadian landscape. During his career he produced substantial body of works ranging from the meticulously representational to the vividly abstract. In 1988, the City of Waterloo and the Neufeld Family transferred the collection to Wilfrid Laurier University to be held in public trust for the citizens of the Region of Waterloo.
