One of the many colourful floats in last year's parade At a fall meeting of the alumni executive it was announced that the following alumni had been nominated as executive members for 1959-60: Paul Wagner, President; Phil Rason, vice-president; Sandra Lehnen, recording secretary; David Buehlow, treasurer; Pat Hedrick, corresponding secretary; Donald Groff, Bulletin editor; and Dick Capling, Bulletin assistant editor. Plans for the re-union were finalized. Float parade, football game, reception, dinner and dance are scheduled (see this issue for further information). Carl Totzke mentioned that CKCO was interested in televising the game if a sponsor could be found. The executive endorsed this idea and gave Carl a complete go-ahead. It was noted with some concern that rent for the use of the Crystal Ball Room at the Walper Hotel had risen from $15.00 of last year to $50.00 this year. The hotel also sells refreshments during the dance. NEW RESIDENCE PROPOSED At a recent meeting, the College Board of Governors resolved to begin construction of a new seventy-five to one hundred bed residence on the college campus. The $300,000 structure will include a reading room and library as well as residence quarters. Canada Council grants matched by college funds will provide the financial backing for the project. SALUTAMUS! This bulletin wishes to congratulate and commend the following alumnus for reflecting his recent honour upon our society and college: The Rev. Lloyd H.
