Description
Advertising souvenir card for Dr. Slocum's Oxomulsion. Features portraits of Prime Ministers Wilfrid Laurier and John A. MacDonald, and lists of conditions and diseases that can be cured with Dr. Slocum's tonics.
Notes
Cover features a sketch of Wilfrid Laurier, while page 3 features a sketch of John A. MacDonald. A portion of Laurier's face is cut away to reveal MacDonald's nose and mouth.

Page 4 stamped: On sale by A. Buckenham, Watchmaker, Jewller, Optician, Bothwell, Ontario.

Wilfrid Laurier (1841-1919) was Canada's eighth Prime Minister, holding office 1896-1911. Laurier was born in St. Lin, Quebec. He received a law degree from McGill University in 1864, and practiced law in Montreal and Arthabaskville from 1864-1896. Wilfrid Laurier was Liberal party leader from 1887 until his death in 1919.
