Kitchener, June 17th, 1953. The twenty-second Annual Meeting of the Women's Auxiliary to The Evangelical Lutheran Seminary of Canada and Waterloo College was held on the above date in Trinity Lutheran Church, Tavistock, Ontario, with an attendance of 218. The meeting was opened by the President, Mrs. C. H. Doerr. Opening devotions were conducted by Sister Edna Monk of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Kitchener. She took as her theme "A Virtuous Woman". Pastor O. C. Stockman of the host congregation, together with Mr. Vincent Epp of the Church Board welcomed the visitors at this time. The minutes of the last Annual Meeting were read and approved. The Treasurer's report was read and accepted as presented. Greetings from the President of Synod were conveyed through Mrs. Doerr. The roll call was taken with 21 churches being represented. The report of the Nominating Committee was given by Mrs. Herb. Hollinger as follows: Hon. Pres. Dr. Reble Hon. Vice-Pres. Dr. Lehmann Pres. for Life Mrs. J. Conrad Past President Mrs. Wm. Treasurer Mrs. Gernld Hagey Mrs. Gillespie presided, for the election of officers. The auditors will be Mrs. Norman Dreger and Mrs. Otto Dannecker.
