Handwritten minutes of the 1942 committee meeting of the Women’s Auxiliary of the Evangelical Lutheran Seminary of Canada, held in Waterloo, Ontario on March 14.
Notes
Minutes located in a 23.5 cm x 19 cm dark green, hard cover notebook entitled "Records". The words "Written minutes of annual meetings from May 1932 to October 16, 1943" are handwritten on the book.

The Women's Auxiliary of Waterloo Lutheran Seminary was organized in 1913 to stimulate interest in the programs and needs of Waterloo Lutheran Seminary, especially in relation to the training of men and women committed to a Christian ministry.

Waterloo Lutheran Seminary is a seminary of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada affiliated with Wilfrid Laurier University, located in Waterloo, Ontario. It was established in 1911 as the Evangelical Lutheran Seminary of Canada, and changed to its current name in 1960.

Waterloo, Mar. 14th 1942

On Saturday afternoon, Mar 14th, the Past President Mrs Conrad, The President Mrs Gillespie, the treasurer, Mrs Kalbfleisch and your Secretary met in the Reading Room of Waterloo College to discuss among other things the terrible condition & furnishings of Waterloo College & Seminary.

At this meeting it was decided to first approach the various donors who originally furnished the rooms to learn as to whether they would again undertake the work & your Secretary was authorized to write the various organizations

It was also decided to have the Spring Visiting Day on Saturday – April 18th – Dr Clausen to be the speaker & the ladies of St Mathews, St Peters St Marks, Kitchener & St Johns Waterloo as hostesses.
