Dr. J. Ray Houser, seminary principal, approves heartily as Mrs. Harry D. Greb presents gift certificate to seminary graduate Women discuss their university projects in the congregations. This quilt will soon brighten a student's room in a campus residence. Auxiliary members join in discussion in the Torque Room snack shop. Centre of discussion is the university pastor, the Rev. Francis K. Wagschal. Waterloo Lutheran Seminary has always been included in the auxiliary's special projects. "Willing Hearts and Hands" is a free 50-frame filmstrip that tells the inspiring story of the work of the devoted Women's Auxiliary of Waterloo Lutheran University. In colour and sound it describes this vital part of the university's life . . . as the women work and give, generously and continuously. It is a 13-minute production designed for use on a standard filmstrip projector. With it comes a long-play phonograph record, 33' r.p.m. speed, which may be played on the filmstrip combination projector or a portable or home record player. If your church doesn't have the necessary equipment, borrow it from a neighboring church or school. How to use it: "Willing Hearts and Hands" is ideal for use by a wide variety of church groups, for in addition to telling the story of the women's auxiliary of WLU it focusses attention on the growth and vitality of the university. Use it for congregational meetings, young people's meetings, women's meetings, district meetings . . . even men's groups will be interested in seeing the work of this serving arm of the university. It's a good idea to plan two showings of the filmstrip to each group. Because of the large numbers in the cast, the audience will be concentrating on identification of many friends during the first showing. A second showing, preferably after a discussion, will help to impress the filmstrip's message. How to get it: Order "Willing Hearts and Hands" from the Office of Information, Waterloo Lutheran University, Waterloo, Ontario.
