James Annett, director of Annett & Compay Limited (second from the right) is presenting cheques totalling $350,000 to Harry Greb, chairman of the Waterloo Lutheran University Board of Governors to complete the financing of the Arts Building. Looking on is Ralph Kraft (left), treasurer of the Waterloo Lutheran University Board of Governors and Harry Seyer (right), estates manager of the Waterloo Trust and Savings Company. They are standing in the Waterloo Trust and Savings Company office in Kitchener, Ontario.

- Wilfrid Laurier University is located in Waterloo, Ontario. It began in 1911 as the Evangelical Lutheran Seminary of Canada. In 1924 Waterloo College was established, providing courses in post-secondary education. In 1960 Waterloo College became Waterloo Lutheran University, and in 1973 changed its name to Wilfrid Laurier University.
