Waterloo Lutheran University news release regarding fall convocation 1973. Honorary degrees will be conferred upon Bernard Lonergan, Gratton O'Leary and Garfield Bender. Gratton O'Leary, a newsman in the Ottawa Press Gallery when Sir Wilfrid Laurier was prime minister, will deliver the first Laurier Lecture.
