- A colour photograph depicting an open leather satchel revealing a rolled up chain with cutting teeth and a metal ring visible at one end all resting on a world map.

- Parallel to the development of the axe ran the (?). This chain saw is operated simply by attaching the handles to the chain and pulling the chain around the tree. It could be used by either one man or two. Loaned by: Bernard Dixon Humphrey, Ontario, June 1975.
