Description
This is a hand sewn quilt created by Mary (Peterson) Allhusen in approximately 1900. The background is a light pink that shows signs of discoloration from age and on it are sewn 33 flags from around the world.
Notes
Mrs. Allhusen was known in the Iron Bridge for her skills as a midwife. (1877-1930)
