Two of Red Rock's goals came on empty net shots in the dying seconds of the game, when Terrace Bay pulled goalie James Depaola in favour of the extra attacker. Red Rock had a 3-0 lead at the end of the first period, and it wasn't until 6:56 of the sec- ond that Terrace Bay got on the : scoreboard. Ivan Cottrell scored for Ter- race Bay, and the team put pressure on Red Rock for a couple of minutes after that goal, but failed to score. Finally, at 1:22, Robert Fen- ton pulled Terrace Bay within one, and the teams headed for . the dressing room with the score 3-2. But Red Rock scored early in the third to make it 4-2, and held on for the win. Jamie Langford was named Terrace Bay's MVP for the game.
