DANCE FOR HEART The Terrace Bay Recreation Department and the Heart and Stroke Foundation will be hosting their 4th Annual DANCE FOR HEART on Thursday, February 15th at the Highschool. Participants will do Aerobics for three hours - from 6:30 P.M. - 9:30 P.M. All proceeds will be donated to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, so sponsor a dancer for this cvent. DOWNHILL SKI PACK- AGE We arc still taking names for this program which is scheduled to begin on February 11th and run until March 4th. This 4-weck pro- gram includes transportation to Loch Lomond Ski Hill, Ski Rentals, Ski Lift Passes and Ski Lessons. This program includes transportation, ski lessons, lift passes and equipment rentals. RS = Ly ee The Corporation of the Township of Terrace Bay Public Meeting Tourism Strategy and Construction of a Tourist Reception Centre The Township is hosting a meeting to present to the public the recommendations of its recently completed tourism strategy. This report outlines proposed initiatives to be undertaken to develop tourism in Terrace Bay over the next several years. One of the recommendations is the construction of a tourist reception centre as part of the Ontario Government's Northern Ontario Travel Information Centre Enhancement Program (N.O.T.I.C.E.) All members of the public are encouraged to attend to learn about the recommendations and to give their opinions on the proposals.
