Wednesday, January 24 1990 TERRACE BAY/SCHREIBER NEWS Page 5 Letter to the Editor "This country and its people are being regularly raped, robbed and brutilized by this government." Mr. Editor: This letter is addressed to "PM" Brian Mulruncy and his Gucci-shoed, armani-suited cronies on Parliment Hill. I am not quite sure what "PM" stands for these days, could it stand for Post-mortem? As far as myself and many Canadians are concerned, the only thing left to be done after the Mulruney Government is finished hacking this country to pieccs, will be to read the autopsy report. This country and its people are being regularly raped, robbed and bruti- lized by this government. The main artery in this body of land called Canada will be removed in the form of Via Rail cuts. The heart and soul of the fishing industry has been ripped out. Each Canadian will feel the crip- pling affects of the proposed GST. Perhaps when all this comes to pass, Mr. Mulruney can call on our American neighbors to pick the bones of this Cadaver clean. The Mulruney Government seems to be living by the old adage the only sure things in life are death and taxes. Not only are they killing Canada as we know it, but they are making us pay for the funeral. I feel it appropriate that Mr. Mulruncy, Mr. Wilson, Mr. Bouchard and Mr. Crosbie be named honorary pall bearers. Is there a "Doctor" in the "House"? If so we need urgent attention for our prognosis is very grim. Sheera MacFarlane Schreiber, Ont.
