This kit will be useful for indi- viduals and groups who have found problems in some part of our health care system, but who don't know how to go about get- ting things changed. The "What Can I Do?" kit is a resource book and video for peo- ple who want to learn how to make changes in our health care system. It features a video showing how women in Northwestern Ontario have made changes by sitting on a hospital board, join- ing the District Health Council, starting a lobby group and two self-help groups." When I travel by any type of accommodation I have to be accompanied by a nurse or friend, which is an added expense for me. Give us back our C.P.R. trains. The C.P.R. was instrumental in opening up the great country of ours from the east to the west. The company had six passenger trains when I came up to this gered over set-up. It contains workshops that people can use to develop strate- gies to ensure that government legislation is responsive to their nceds. The "What Can I Do?" kit has been 12 months in the making. "It is a great resource kit that brings together all the informa- tion about government health departmcnts affecting Northwestern Ontario," said Judi Vinni of the Northwestern Ontario Women's' Health Information Network: This project was made possi- ble by gencrous donations from the Secretary of State department, the Ontario Women's Directorate and the volunteer efforts of the Northwestern Ontario Women's Health Information Network. For more information about the kit, please contact the Northwestern Ontario Women's Health Information Network at (807) 345-1410 in Thunder Ba I wonder how many remember the Bud Car. I always had to be carried off that thing. I was always expecting it to sprout wings and strike off over lakes and hills. We need the C.P.R. passenger train. It could have less cars maybe but our former silver train is needed, not a mixture of blue, green and other colors. Let VIA be run on their own. It is the C.P.R. for us but big, oily monsters pulling it spoils the appearance of our trains. I wish I were younger and in good health. How I would get out there and fight, keep our stations - the two lovely brick buildings being neglected. Our men want their jobs back.
