Wednesday, May 3, 1989 TERRACE BAY/SCHREIBER NEWS Page 3 Ladies Auxiliary report The general mecting of the Ladies Auxiliary, Royal Canadian Legion Branch 223 was held on Monday, April 24 with Shirley Love, president, in the chair. A report on the Executive meet- ing held earlier in April with Lisette Wenzel, branch president was given by Shirley Love. S. Caron and S. Love are 'in charge of the lunch for the K.C. mecting on Pensioners, being held on Thursday, April 27. P. JOnes reported 75 paid up members. A membership list was given to the branch re: fish derby entries. It was suggested we have rental forms for the kitchen available with branch hall rentals so they can be signed at the same time, when the kitchen is needed. C. McDonald gave the sick and Look who's 30 Happy Bithday Ted visiting report. We reccived an invitation to the Schreiber L.A. Birthday Party on May 25. A list will be posted in the Legion Hall for signatures of those who wish to attend. Deadline is May 20. A discussion on School bursaries took place and the High School will be notified of our decision. B. St. Louis will be receiving a 20 yr. pin and J. Megraw will be sent a spoon and her 20 yr. pin also. Tickets were handed out for the raffle on a home made quilt, to be held at the fall bazaar, and is on dis- play at the credit union. Arianne Falzetta gave the lunch report for the J. Beddard Bonspiel. P. Jones and her committee are looking after the May meeting and as this is our last general meeting before the fall, it was suggested we have a penny auction and lunch. Members are asked to attend and bring something for the Penny Auction. The Pot of Gold was won by S..
