Aerobics The next session of after- noon aerobics will begin Monday, February 22nd and will run to April 6th. Classes will be held Monday and Clarification This is in reference to the story in the March 2nd issue of the News concerning the discussion on economic development. The story stated that an eco- nomic development committee can only be established if a com- munity has a population of 4,000 or more. In fact, an EDC can be estab- lished in a town of any size; but if there are less than 4,000 peo- ple, there can be no government assistance. The town council would have to fund the committee itself in this instance. Past-president of the Aguasabon Chamber of Commerce Michael Moore told the News that the 4,000 popula- tion guideline is also under review and that it may be low- ered, If an EDC is established under the population guidelines, the government will assist in funding up to 75 per cent and the town- ship must cover the balance. The News apologizes for any confusion this may have caused. Open your eyes to the ability in disabled _ adults.
