Each police force in Canada has access and availability to all information in CPIC. CPIC provides protection to the officers and safety to the com- munity. "Your officers and the commu- nity are better protected by having CPIC on location," Kidder said. The News learned at the Schreiber presentation that this is the first presentation for the new year's baby organized by the Ladies' Auxiliary to the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 109. The Women's Institute used to hold this presentation until that organization folded two years ago. The institute had held the event for at least 40 years.
