The students from Schreiber Public School who took their talents to brushes are Jason Chapman, Barb Roen, Rebecca Wiseman and Justin Tessier. The bright, colorful drawings fill the panes entirely and are made from a water-washable paint, said Schreiber Postmaster, Barb McLaughlin. Public school students were asked by Teacher, Sandy. Quinton, who was ask- ed by Postmaster, McLaughlin, if they would like to do the paintings. Canada Post has been asking kids to do this type of work for the last four or five years, said McLaughlin. She also said that the kids will be receiving a certificate acknowledging their work from Brian Garagan, com- munity affairs for Canada Post, sometime in December or January. f '| So merry Dec. 25, 1662 (Christ- mas day): To church in the morning, and there saw a wedding in the church, which I have not seen many a day; and the young people so merry one with another, and strange to see what delight we married people have to see these poor fools decoyed into our condition, every man and woman gaz- ing and smiling at them.... . LYNNE'S HAIRSTYLING Bright hair ideas will help looks Since the party scene livens up for the holidays, why not liven up your hair too - with temporary col- or mousse. The following holiday bright hair tips are from the experts at Cosmagique, whose color mousse comes in four regular and four par- ty shades that wash out complete- ly with only one shampoo. If you want just an overall tint of color, work a golf ball size amount of mousse evenly through | towel-dried hair and style as usual. MERRY CHRISTMAS FRANK, SYLVIA & JASON SPORTSWORLD RRAVARRART For more vivid color and a more festive look, streak and tip. Wait until hair is almost dry, then squeeze a quarter dollar size ball of mousse onto the fingertips of one hand, section off hair with the other and apply color in one stroke. Repeat for each streak or tip. Styling agents in the mousse will also allow you to spike or swirl as you color. _ RABRRARVR Cosmagique color mousse re- quires no patch tests or rubber gloves, and will not stain hands, scalp, clothes or pillowcases if you are too partied-out to shampoo before going to sleep. Try one color or four, or all eight together. Only your imagina- tion is the limit, and just one suds- ing will return your hair to its everyday hue. pnb aa MANE
