Along with their regular meetings they had every week, they par- ticipated in bottle drives, cleanups and their annual tree planting day which was in itself a success. It ended with smiles, a full stomach and some words of encouragement on June 16th at the Moose Hall. Admidst the crowd of Scouts, Cubs and Beavers, were some distinguished guests: Gordon Moorey, District Commissioner of Boy Scouts; Bob Hopper, District Vice Commis- sioner of Boy Scouts; Pam Jones, District Commis- sioner for Girl Guides; Mr. Guy Bozec, District Presi- dent for Loyal Order of the Moose. Mr. Bozec gave us the honour of Master of Ceremonies. "in "ne The annual Supper com- menced with the singing of "O Canada", A Toast to "the Queen, a toast to the Parents by Ian Ross and a reply by his father Don. Grace was given by Rev. Lowry. Then came the food, which as you can tell from the picture was hear- tily accepted. Afterwards, Gordon Moorey com- mended all the people con- cerned with this year in the Organization, for a job well done, expressed his desire to see it continue and hoped even more parents would become involved in the coming year. And then we had the pleasure of wat- ching him hand out the ser- . vice badges to all the leaders of the groups. The evening ended with a short film about camping which was put on for the boys by John McGrath of the Ministry of Natural 'Resources. We have decided to split the 3-6 age group that we had last year into two separate groups. The reason for this change is that we found the 3-4 year olds had a shorter attention span than the 5-6 year olds.
