Page 12, Terrace Bay-Schreiber News, Wednesday, September 19, 1984. Big Money at Moose Hall by VIVIAN LUDINGTON Moose Hall, Terrace Bay, Thursday Septem- ber 13, 1984. This is the first time' I have ever been to a Dabber Bingo -and I may be back now that I know what I am doing. With a Jackpot of $1,000 on the first night of a new season for the Moose Bingos they had a very large turn out with approximately 250 people in attendance. With all the people there 'they had a little bit of confusion but it all turn- ed out, and things ran smoothly, with the ex- ception of the Bingo Machine (the machine that drops numbered balls out at random). It was suffering from the most severe case of in- digestion I have ever heard. Any of you that were there will reme- mber, and if you were not there you have to go, if only to hear "Gasie Gus" perform. It was nice to see some of those "Sensa- .tional Senior Citizens' out playing bingo and - selling 50/50 tickets, with the proceeds going toward the future pur- 'chase of a new van for the home. They each take home $500, REGS ATC PR Ress WO ke not too bad for just sitting and dabbing. Congratulations.
