Sister Mar- vel gave the scripture reading. Mrs. Billie Anne Saarinen read the minutes and corres- pondence which includ- ed thank yous for mass and get well cards. Mrs. Roxanne McLelland gave the Treasurer's re- port. Sister Marvel, Church Life' Convenor, announ- ced that the rosary will be recited daily during May in the Church at 6:45 p.m. for World Peace. Christian Family Life Convenor, Mrs. Es- telle Morrill, reported on the activities of the Guides and Brownies. Education Convenor, Mrs. Colleen Gauthier, reminded members of the open meeting to be held on April 26 about the Lake Superior High School, Schreiber Cam- pus. Community Life Convenor, Mrs. Teresa Stortini, reminded mem- bers to bring articles for the parcel to be sent to two families in Poland. She read a letter from a family in Poland who have received a parcel from a family in Holy Angels Parish, which described some of their difficulties in day to day life and how grateful they were to receive help from strangers in Schreiber. Mrs. Kay Stefurak thanked her executive and all the members for > their help and co-oper- ation during her term as President. The election chair- person, Mrs. Rose Spe- ziale, presented the new slate of officers for Holy Angels CWL for 1983- 84. President - Mrs. Billie Anne Saarinen; 1st Vice President - Mrs. Irene Borutski; 2nd Vice President - Mrs. Col- leen Gauthier; 3rd Vice President - Ms. Anne Marie Borutski; Re- cording Secretary - Mrs. Bernadette Cardiff, Cor- responding Secretary - Mrs. Pat Kennedy; Treasurer - Mrs. Rox- anne McLellan. Mrs. Rose Speziale and Mrs. Irene Borut- ski presented Mrs. Stefurak with a corsage and gift. The installation of the new executive will take place at a special mass at 7 p.m. on April 29. Mrs. Saarinen asked for volunteers to look after lunch for the Re- ception after Confirm- ation service on May 26 in the Town Hall, and also after the First Com- munion which will be held May 29 at 10 a.m. Mass. A tentative date of June 4 was set for the membership tea and the next regular meeting will be May 15. Winner of\ the Pot O'Gold was Mrs. Lianne Beauparlant. The lucky draw was made by Mrs. Wiznuk, a visitor from Sault Ste..
