Special Events This year, Lake Superior High School celebrated Valentine's Day in a unique way. The cheerleaders de- cided to have a 'Mr. Irresistible" contest. On Friday, February 11, the cheerleaders sold the girls of the school small, red hearts. The girls were to wear the hearts, but then they could not talk to any male for the rest of the day. If a girl talked to a male, she had to give him "'her heart". By the end of the day, who- ever had the most hearts, would be crown- ed "Mr. Irresistible."' The Students' Council held.a Valentine's Day Dance in the evening in which Bryan Walton was crowned "Mr. §Irresis- tible", and Katie Ray was honoured as "Miss Valentine Sweetheart."' A lot of fun was had by all-as the males of the school competed to win a girl's heart. Sorry that you did not get my heart, Mr. Tay- lor!
