Sinotte was won by Debbie McDougall. The teddy bear donat -ed by Robinson Store was won by Mrs. B. RS Pytyck. GENERAL MEETING: The monthly meeting of the C.W.L. was held on October 11, 1977. Following the League Prayer and Prayer to the Holy Father, the minutes from previous meeting, correspondence and the treasurer's report were read. Conveners reports were then given.y There was a good turn out at the regional meeting. Thank you to Mrs. Kennedy and the ladies in the kitchen. A discussion was held on the use of the church basement. A check will be made on how it can be used. A discussion was held on ways we could help out the elderly at the old folks home. It was decided that by buying a membership in the auxiliary, they could call us, if at any time help was needed. The 25th Apniversary of our C.W.L. Parish Council will be held November 14, 1977. There will be a supper and social. Anyone wishing to attend, please contact Mrs. Rita Corrigan or Mrs. Mary Hale. Mrs. L. Belliveau introduced the guest speaker Mr. Ed Kenney after the meeting was adjourned by M.C. Kennedy. A very informal presentation was given with regards to the courses on Relaxation & Nutrition, Mr. Kenney will be giving. ,* A luncheon was served by Mrs. P. Regis and her committee. Mrs. Claire Roen thanked Mr. Kenney. for his presentation, and wished him success, in his ventures. GAMES ROOM WILL REMAIN CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. Approximate- Terrace Bay Recreation Department. RECREATION DEPT. WEEKLY REPORT TERRACE BAY MEMORIAL ARENA: For the first five operating days of the arena schedule an attempt has been made to have each group have at least one session. The regular time slots for groups using 'the arena will start on Saturday, October 29th. "The regular arena schedule will commence to appear in the Terrace Bay News starting next week. RECREATION MEMBERSHIP DISCS MUST BE SHOWN: A reminder to all members of the Terrace Bay Recreation Association that membership discs must be shown to participate in public skating at No Charge. Non members must pay the established rate for Public Skating. GIRLS YOUTH BASKETBALL PROGRAM The time for the girls session which takes place at St. Martin's every Saturday morning has been changed to 10:30 a.m. All Interested girls are encouraged to show up at 10:15 a.m. and be ready to play by 10:30. We still re- quire at least 6 or 8 more girls to operate a league so if you are interested why not drop down to St. Martin's gym this Saturday at 10:15 a.m. BOYS YOUTH BASKETBALL Sessions continue every Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at St. Martin's. In excess of 30 boys have registered for this program therefore teams will be selected next week and a regular schedule will be set up for league play. YOGA: A reminder that registrations will be ac- cepted up until Monday, October 31st. At the time of this write up there is room for only 8 more registrations, so if you are interested register now.
