WEEKLY REPORT SWIM AWARDS AND SWIM POOL HOURS: All swim awards, with the exception of the Minnows and Tadpoles crests, which have not been received as yet, may be picked up at the Swim Pool during public swimming hours. Pub- lic swimming will be held from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. during weekdays and 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Information regarding the date of closing the Pool for the summer will be available through next week's News. TENNIS TOURNAMENT: Starting last Friday, August 26th, the local Tennis Tournament got underway. Great interest has been shown by registrants and spectators are encouraged to come out and watéh the play. The tournament ends Sunday, September 4th, depending on weather conditions for the remainder of the week. A note to all tennis players - the tour- nament participants have priority to:courts at"'all times. Please keep this in-mind when you are planning to play tennis. Any notices regarding changes in time of play or schedule for the tennis tournament will be posted at the tennis courts and the bulletin board of the Recreation Centre. CANOE TRIP: Last Wednesday, August 24th, through Fri- day, August 26th, fourteen adventurous out- doors people left Canoe Lake heading for Jack fish Lake. An enjoyable time was had by all.
