WEEKLY REPORT LOCAL TENNIS TOURNAMENT: e The Terrace Bay Recreation Department is pleased to announce that a local tennis tour- nament will take place at the Terrace Bay ten- + nis courts from Friday, August 26th, to Sunday, September 4th.inclusive. The following events according to the following age groups will be offered: : 5 Age Groupings - 10 to 12 years of age inclusive ~ 13 and 14 years of age + 15 to 17 years of age inclusive -'18 years of age and over = = Events offered - Men's (Boys') Singles . Ladies' (Girls') Singles Men's (Boys') Doubles lLadies' (Girls'") Doubles = «- - Mixed Doubles Registration fee is $1.50 per player per event ( i.e., a player registering for Men's Doubles, Men's Singles and Mixed Doubles would pay a registration fee of $4.50). In order to prepare properly for this tournament, all in- terested players must register at the Recrea- tion Office during office hours by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, August 19th, Draw sheets will be posted at the tennis courts and on the Recrea- tion Centre bulletin board early the following week. Due to supervisional reasons, . p a limit has been set at 24 people; therefore, it will be on a "first come, first served" basis with special consideration given to those people who have regularly attended the Outers Programme.
