PAGE 8 TERRACE BAY NEWS JUNE 29, 1977 SENIOR CITIZEN'S WEEK AT BIRCHWOOD: Cont'd The afternoon was closed with tea being served and visiting among the residents. Tuesday evening the Township of Terrace Bay entertained all senior citizens at the Legion Hall. Music, dancing and a group sing-song were all part of the evening's entertainment. Prizes were given for spot dancing and there was a door prize. Refreshments were served throughout the evening, followed by a delicious lunch. Wednesday the residents were taken by bus to Jackfish where we stopped at the Chalet Restaur -ant for afternoon tea. Fresh home-made butter tarts were served in the cosy atmosphere of the Chalet. Events were. wound up on Thursday when the Chimo Club of Schreiber entertained the Birch- wood residents with a candlelight buffet in the home's dining room.
