He in turn presented the flowers to his wife as the assembly was informed it was their Wedding Anniversary. Helen LeBlanc, Chapter Leader, accepted the award for "Best Costumes" on behalf of the Schreiber/Terrace Bay group. The Chapter dressed in old fashioned gowns, bonnets and parasols to suit the theme of the Rally, "Belles" are Ringing in the TOPS and KOPS. June Corcoran, Area Supervisor and special guest Rae Getter, Regional Director from the United States both addressed the Rally in the evening. The evening came to a climax with the presentation of the Area Queen. To win the honour Mrs. Cosgrove lost the most weight of all the Chapter Queens. in the Northwestern Area for the year 1975.
