Two new members were welcomed into the Auxiliary. Lunch was served by Sadie Benko and her committee. Lorraine and Dale Vitme from Caledonia, Ontario were visitors at the home of Alma an Harry Hart this past week. : Visitors with Don and Vida Laporte have been daughter, Carol with husband, Richard Marcella and their friends Mr. and Mrs. G. Steel. Also daughter Judi Savoi with sons, Brad and Chris. Visiting with Mr. and Mrs. A. Almos were Mr. and Mrs. Ellard and son, Billy and Mrs. Ellard's mother, Mrs. Helen Colpits, of Vancouver. RECREATION DEPARTMENT WEEKLY REPORT TERRACE BAY SWIM POOL OPEN UNTIL THIS SATUR- DAY, SEPTEMBER 11TH: Depending on weather conditions for the remainder of this week, it is the intention of the Recreation Department to keep our swim pool open to the public up to and including this Saturday, September llth. For specific hours open to the public, please refer to the schedule posted at the swim pool. 1976 SWIM POOL ATTENDANCE : As of Monday, September 6th, the total admissions to the Terrace Bay Swim Pool was slightly in excess of 9,000. It should be pointed out to the general public that this attendance is very high and indicates the. frequency of use by the general public of our pool. : YOGA PROGRAMME : Please refer to page 6 for details on the Yoga programme which will be offered. To those of you who have already called the Rec- reation Office to leave your name and phone number, a reminder that you must make payment "at the Recreation Office to officially regis- ter for the programme. NORTHWESTERN ONTARIO MUNICIPAL RECREATION CONFERENCE : : On October 1st, 2nd and 3rd, the annual Northwestern Ontario Municipal Recreation Conference will be held at the Airlane Motor Hotel in Thunder Bay. This particular Rec- reation conference is open to anyone in the -. community who is vitally interested in, Recrea -tion and might want to learn about the growth of Recreation in Northwestern Ontario.
