'and Ray Belliveau. for the Bowlers who did the impossible, as Edna Beddard the Statiitician said, they had a 'blow' in a league that doesn't have a 'blow' pin anymore. The lucky people were Butch Bouchard (and they were on the winning team) and Robbie Velanoff. Pauline Moon (she was on the prize committ- ee and didn't know she was included, she was on the runner-up team), LaVaughn West (she had high single with handicap). Ned West also was high single with handicap. So it seems some folks do have a bad night occassionally. Betty Usher and Lillian Belliveau both had prizes for hidden scores and blow frames, so you don't have to be bowling experts to have fun and bowl in the Legion Mixed Bowling League. Edna Beddard has been the chairman and statistician for five years and she thanked everyone for the help they had given her. At this point Ted Velanoff surprised Edna with a beautiful bouquet of Gladioli from all the bowlers in appreciation of her hard work in 'the Bowling League and also a Legion Ladies Auxiliary Pendant as a keepsake. mk Chairman and chairperson for the next sea = Statisticians Lillian Member ship Lois MacRae, Prize Committee Jean Fisher, Pauline Moon and Edna Beddard.
