The Trustees J commend the staff for progress to date and en- courage them to proceed with curriculum plans. The Family Life Program at the Lake Super- ior Public School was removed from the status of pilot project and continue as a bona fide course. The Junior Kindergarten Program Report pro- vided by M. Averill, G.R. Saumur, and C. Brown was reviewed by Trustees. The Board extends its appreciation and best wishes for continued success with the program. The Manitouwadge Public School Junior Kin- dergarten Program was removed from the status of pilot project and continue as a regular programs. The Board approved and proceed with the purchase of the additional 217,800 square feet of land from American Can Limited, adjacent to the Marathon Stevens Avenue Public School pro-. perty, at the nominal price of $2.00; the Director being authorized to complete the tran -saction. Correspondence received from A.C. Edmond- son indicated an interest in school transpor- tation contracts. Correspondence was received from R.A. Cress -man re: purchase of I54 Birch Crescent, Terrace Bay. A letter of appreciation and thanks will be forwarded to the Management of Willroy Mines Limited for the delicious luncheon served Board members at their cafeteria.
