JUNE 4, 1975 TERRACE BAY NEWS PAGE 9 TERRACE BAY RECREATION DEPARTMENT WEEKLY REPORT Minor Ball Registration Night Wednesday, June 4th: This year the registration for Minor Fastball will be handled differently. Registration forms will not - be circulated through the schools as one evening has been designated for official registration. A drop-in registration night will be held tonight, Wednesday, June 4th, at the Curling Lounge from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. Notices of this registration night have been mailed and announcements made through all the schools. The following age categories will be offered to interested players: Boys - 7 to 9 years of age - International League 10 to 12 years of age - American League 13 & 14 years of age - National League Girls - 10 to 12 years of age - Juniors 13 to 16 years of age - Seniors Parents are strongly encouraged to accompany their children on registration night. In order to make the Minor Fastball leagues go, a number of volunteers will be required to act in the capacity of coaches and umpires. If you can assist, be sure to inform our Summer Programme Developer, Alex Van- derkam, on registration night in the Curling Lounge. "WOMAN AND THE LAW" - Register Now: Please refer to the ad in this issue for details con- cerning the "WOMAN AND THE LAW" programme . A reminder that anyone in Terrace Bay who is in- terested may register at the Recreation Office and ne in Schreiber may register at the Schreiber recreation Office. TENNIS: Parts have finally arrived from Hamilton and at the time of this write-up the only work remaining on the fencing was the installation of the chain link fencing itself. All support poles and cross brackets. have now been completed. If weather conditions permit, a number of work parties will be held this week and hopefully we will be in a position to offer tennis very shortly . As advertised earlier, the Recreation (fice is presently making plans for a series of tennis clinics which will hopefully commence in June.
