Each community will have the opportunity to send equal numbers of boys to the camp. The four weeks of operation are July 7th-IIth, July I4th-I8th, July 2Ist-25th and July 28th- August Ist. The cost to a camper will be $30.00, which will pay for his food. All equipment and supervisor and instructional costs are taken care of by the Ministry of Education 'Experience '75' project. The campers will bring with them personal belongings, a sleeping bag, any fishing equip- ment and cameras that they wish to use. Trans- portation to and from the camp will be the responsibility of the campers. Anyone wishing to register for this camp may obtain registration forms from their loc- al Recreation Office. It should be pointed out that the registration fee must accompany the registration form. You may register up to Wednesday, June IS8th. BANQUET WINDS-UP CURLING SEASON The Curling Club season officially closed on Saturday, April 26th with the Annual Wind- Up Banquet and Dance held at the Moose Hall. The Men's and Ladies Club's executive en- tertained special guests and trophy donors at a cocktail party held in the Curling Club Lounge preceding the banquet. This year the Club was honoured to have as special guests Mr. and Mrs. Rune Ostling. Mr. Ostling was a founder and charter member of our Club. He has been club President on three occasions and is our only surviving Life Mem~- ber. Head table guests included Mr. and Mrs. Hal Lawson from Marathon, Mr. and Mrs. Russ Cole from Thunder Bay who were representing Laskins of Thunder Bay, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Romanuk of Terrace Bay, Mr. and Mrs. Curly Hale represent ing the Township of Terrace Bay. A presentation was made by M.C., Bob Robertd to President, Len Crockford in appreciation of the efforts Len has put forward as a member of our executive for many years. Prizes and trophies were presented to winn- ers and runners-up for the various club events and bonspiels held during the past year. Later on dancing to the music of Sound In- vestment of Marathon was enjoyed by a full house at the Moose Hall. Ladies: Norma Crockford presented Ida Romanuk with her Life Membership Scroll. Ida Romanuk presented a 25 year pin to Mary Hale. This pin also goes to Ann Latour who hasn't missed a year curling in 25 years. at this time was in California. President Shirley Caron introduced her ex- ecutive and thanked them for their hard work and co-operation. Elaine Zwir president elect then introduced her. incoming executive - Past President, Shirley Caron; President, Elaine Zwir; Ist Vice, to be elected; 2nd Vice Barbara Hopper; Secretary, Sheila Hamilton; Treasurer, Norma Crockford; 5 Directors, Conn- ie Cvitkovich, M. Bartlett, June Schritte, Gail Simmer, Thelma Northcott. Men's Executive: Past President, Len Crockford; President, Dave Desrosiers; Ist Vice, Cam Burgess; Treas- urer, Ed Kennedy; Secretary, Hugh Brophy; Directors, Henry Hermes, Paul Malashewski, Len Webb, Jerry Dupas, John McEwen, Bob Roberts; Trustees, Gary Gusul, Bob Hopper, Warrner Hermes. The Club Championship, Shell Trophy was presented by D. Desrosiers to Ollie Chapman, Shirley Richards, Jeannine Desrosiers and Debbie Johnson. This team also won the Las- kin's Trophy presented by Mr. Cole, Seagrams Trophy presented by Curly Hale.
