(Phone: 825-3255) - LAPOINTE: The funeral of Kathleen Patricia Lapointe, - infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Lapointe ~ of Cache Creek, B.C., whose death occurred suddenly in Schreiber on April 27th, was con- . ducted in St. Andrew's United Church in Schrei -ber on April 29th by the Rev. C.C. Graham, of Marathon. : The pall bearers were James Crook, Napoleon Lapointe, Mickey Dooner and Leonard Burns. Interment was in Schreiber cemetery. The baby is survived by her parents, a sister ' Suzanne and grandparents Mr. and Mrs. James Crook and Mr. and Mrs. Napoleon Lapointe,. as well as uncles and aunts. The baby who was eight months old was with "her parents visiting her grandparents in Schreiber when her death occurred. Attending the service from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Joel Lapointe, Mr. and Mrs. ' George Lapointe and three daughters, Miss Jane Crook, and'Roger Rogers of Thunder Bay; Mr. and Mrs. Mickey Dooner with daughter Maur- een of Elliot Lake, Miss Janet Crook of Sandy Lake. Following their considered decision that housecleaning was being foiled by the weather the following friends went on a visiting saf- ari to Sault Ste. Marie, calling on former Schreiber and White River friends, the travel- lers including Georgie Davis, Marj Leadbeater, Adeline Olson, Jenny Hawke and Lucille Morgan. TERRACE BAY RUNNERS-UP IN BADMINTON TOURNAMENT Congratulations to Terrace Bay who were 2nd in the Northshore Junior Badminton Tourna- ment held in Marathon on Saturday, May IOth.
