MARCH 6, 1974 TERRACE BAY NEWS PAGE I2 T:.B:S:C., SKI-A-THON The Terrace Bay Ski Club held a successful ski-a-thon on Saturday afternoon, Feb. 23rd. bout 30 skiers participated and most of them -ompleted their maximum allowable 20 runs. his Ski-a-thon had two entrants who complet- »d all 20 runs on one ski - Robert Vanderkam and Bill Megraw Jr.: : The club would like to thank all those who supported and assisted in the running of this event. Club revenues have dropped off in the past two years due to a shortening of the ski season because of poor conditions. Money made by the Ski-a-thon will do much to over- come this and enable us to continue to operate and maintain the club properly. More informa- tion will be published on the financial as- pects of the event when all the returns are in. g £ . Skiers are reminded to get their returns in to Mel Nicol as quickly as possible.
