PAGE 8 TERRACE BAY NEWS NOVEMBER 2I, I973 CREDIT UNION 25TH ANNUAL MEETING The Terrace Bay Community Credit Union held its twenty-fifth Annual Meeting on Saturday, November I7th. : President, Mr. Joe Kennedy welcomed the following out of town guests - Mr. Cliff O'Bra- in, Field Representative, Ontario Credit Union League; Mr. Harry Miles, President of The Lake- head and District Chapter of Credit Unions; Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Willson, President of the C.P.R. Employees Credit Union; Mr. and Mrs. Nim Wallace, Treasurer-Manager, C.P.R. Employ- ees Credit Union. A delicious luncheon was served by the lad- ies of The Eastern Star preceeding the business meeting. ; ; In disposition of surplus funds the meeting approved the following action. I. to declare a 6.4% return on Share Savings Accounts and 7.5% on Deposit Accounts. 2. To declare an 8% interest refund for the fiscal year ending September 30, I973. 3. To again send repre- sentation to the 0.C.U.L. Convention, scheduled to be held in Toronto next March. New officers elected at this meeting were: Mrs. Joan Nugent to the Supervisory Committee; Mr. Tom Pollard to the Board of Directors; Mr. Murray Gordon to the Credit Committee.
