Surviving are one sister Catherine in Poland and one cousin Antoni Sczypticki in Drumbo Ont., also by other nieces and nephews in the old country. ; 'Resting at the K. Interment in the Schreiber Cemetery. Active pall bearers were Cyril Sparkes, Goff. Bir- ch, Alex Furyk, Walter Lewicki, Tommy Borutski, and Walter llijo. (Ed) Cavanaugh | today announced that a change in rates for utility customers has been approved by Ontario Hydro. The new rates, which will be effective on all bills issued on or after October 1, mean increases averaging 10.8 per cent. With the rates effective on bills issued on or after October 1, residential customers will be billed | at the new rates for energy used during August and September. The effect of the new rates on residential custom=- ers using 1000 kilowatt-hours a month will be to increase the charge from $10.15 to $11.55. Mr. Cavanaugh said that with "inflation persisting { and the cost of purchased power continuing to rise" adjustments are "mandatory if we are going to main- } tain a sound financial position".
