Pokorny, will be taking part in a Christmas Chess Tournament for the B.S. Foonman Memorial Trophy. will be participating in the sudden-death play-down Eighteen club members for this trophy. There will also be a prize of $5.00 awarded to the winner on Wed. Dec., 22, 1971, = THE ANGEL'S HARP A most interesting and enjoyabld week was spent with Miss Jackie Harrest at Holy Angels. Miss Harresi is a student teacher from Lakehead University in Thunder Bay. Jackie is pictured here (centre) with Sister Marvel Belfry, principal and Sister Carol McKerral, grade two teacher. Several students entertained their teachers and fellow pupils a short time ago with a most enjoyable display of talent.
