NOVEMBER 18, 1971 TERRACE BAY NEWS PAGE 15 Cheque Donated - cont'd from page 14 ..... Court on Saturday, October 23, with Mrs. Ken Davis president, receiving. A highlight of the occasion was the presentation of a cheque for one thousand dollars, raised by this auxiliary, to M.J. Vibert, administrator, and F.V. Harness, vice chairman of the board of management .. The sum of $800.00 which was raised by a walk-a- thon, is earmarked for the bus for the use at Pinewood Court, and half the purchase price is now raised. The tea was poured by Mrs. H.J. McParland, Mrs. R.B. Spadoni, Mrs. Harold Fischer and Mrs. F.V, Harness. Table servitors were Mesdames Jim Gray, Frank McKenna, Walter Dukes, Lillian Christie, Bert Morris, Ivan Johnson, and Burton Phillips. Mesdames Russell Macadam, Annie Niemi, and Alec Gordon replenished. Mrs. W.T. Wallace was cashier. The bake table was attended by Mrs. Aurel Major, Edwin Holmes, and Harry Duggan, and tickets on the cake were sold by Mrs. Norma Fummerton and Mrs. Joe Camp- bell - the cake won by Mrs. Pat Cook. In the draws the poncho was won by Mrs. Yola Cebrario, the white cake by Mrs. Rena Ross, the dark cake by Mrs. June Sisson, the trike by Mrs. Eileen Lidkea, the Barbie doll by Lisa Stewart, (Terrace Bay), and the lamp by Roy E. Quentin. and the door prize made and donated by Mrs. Rex Dye, by Mrs. Alice McCouan. One counter attracting much attention and constantly busy, was the Almost-New table attend: ed by Mrs. Georgette Cebrario and Mrs. Lois Gilmour.
