Mrs. Coupal stated she hoped that some fraternal delegates would also attend. It is with great enthusiasm that members are looking forward to a special evening in April, which wiil be called Klondike Night. Long dresses will be the mode for the ladies and various moustaches for the men. Klondike Kate, Dangerous Dan McGrew, Diamond Lil, Big Jim, Clementine and others celebrities will be there. President Mrs. Coupal presented past president Dorothy Ballentine with her pin during the Birthday party celebrations. Stella Gusul won the Pot of Gold. Mrs. E. COMMUNITY CELEBRATES WORLD DAY OF PRAYER World Day of Prayer services were well attended when the ladies of the Community Church played host to the ladies of St. Martin's Roman Catholic Church in a truly Ecumenical spirit. Members of both churches took part in this world wide day of prayer. Mrs. Ellen Hodgkiss was at the organ and Reverend Peter McKague gave the main address. Those taking part were Mesdames G . Ramsay, B. Pytyck, W. McKie, D. Mannisto, C. Wise, P. McKague and J. Schritt. . The offering was taken by Mrs. C. Wise and Mrs. W. Corrigan. After the service, tea, coffee and dainties were served in the Church hall by Mrs. A. Farrow and her committee, Mesdames T. Young, A. Almos, J. Ferrier , M. Gander and J. Schritt. Reeve W.E. Cavanaugh and Councillor J.F. Caccamo attended the four-day Ontario Municipal Electric Association convention at Toronto's Royal York Hotel, February 28 - March 3. The 62nd OMEA meeting was held jointly with the Municipal Electric Utilities convention. More than 1,400 OMEA delegates participated in the sessions. Alex Radin, General Manager, Amer- ican Public Power Association, Washington, Ontario Hydro chairnan, George Gathercole and Dr, R.H.
