COMPLETE LAUNDRY SERVICES Six rinks were entered in the Zone 4, British Consuls Playdowns, held at Terrace Bay Curling Club. Terrace Bay and Red Rock were tied with four and one records. A tie breaker took place Sunday afternoon, where an extra end had to be played before Terrace Bay emerged the victor with a 10 = 9 score. The Terrace Bay rink included Skip = Lou Duquette Third = Bob Cressman, Second - Ken Johnson and Lead = Gerry Dupas. The Red Rock rink was represented by Lloyd Stansell, Andy Skubar , Bill Moore and Dick Taffan- ello. Final standings were Terrace Bay - 5 and 1; Red Rock 4 and 2; Manitouwadge 3 and 2; Nipigon 2 and 3; Marathon 1 and 4 andSchreiper 1 and 4. The rol1-offs to consist of three games. League winners will receive trophies. Each person will be eligable for one prize only. The team prize being the most important one. Anyone qualifying for more than one prize will receive a ribbon or some recognition of same. The prize will go to the runner-up. This is following our original policy of keeping this a "fun" league. All individual records remained the same this week. Several good games were rolled including: = Jean Fisher = 263; Dot Coupal = 255, 231; Yvonne LeClair = 239; Peggy Regis = 215; Edna Beddard - 207 204; George Churney - 242; Bruce McBride - 227; and Clarence Mercier - 204.
