The Terrace Bay Horticultural Society held its annual meeting on Thursday evening in the large meeting room of the Recreation Centre, with Mr. John Steen presiding. The various committee chairmen reported on an active year, with an all time high of 293 members . There were sixty-four junior gardeners enrolled and approximately twenty-five of the test plots in use during the current season. The 1969 annual show SE RR adult exhibitors and well over 500 individual entries The Fall Social held in October again was a great} success and a vote of thanks was extended to Henry Hermes for organizing the evening and to Eva Con- nors and Alice Farrow and their assistants for Mr. Steen,in his remarks,thanked all on the board of directors for their splendid co-operation and hard work during the year.
